Fall Into Colder Fun in Lake Geneva

You may think that Lake Geneva shuts down once the summer fun on the lake comes to an end. But there is still plenty of fun to be had during the fall, and yes even the winter.

The Lake Geneva Cruise Line runs Fall tours until the end of October. The number of daily tours may be reduced but they do run every day. It’s a great way to see the beautiful fall colors around the lake.

Another great way to see the fall colors is from within the fall colors.

Lake Geneva Zipline and Adventures has much more than just ziplines and is a fun day out for everyone. And to add to the Fall Fun, their annual Pumpkin Drop is back for 2 weekends--Oct 16, 17 and Oct 23, 24.

Need some other Family Fun?

Pearce Farms annual corn maze runs on weekends from Sept 8 until Oct 28. While there you can pick up your Halloween pumpkin and some tasty apples for that fall pie. The farm stand is open 7 days a week so you can stop in for some fresh produce.

The Elegant Farmer’s Autumn Harvest Fest is another great option for apple picking, hayrides, and getting lost in a corn maze. It runs on weekends from Sept 11-Oct 24th. The market is open every day from 9am to 6pm.

Want to skip the “wandering around in a corn maze” part?

You can start picking your own apples at Apple Barn Orchard and Winery beginning September 18th.

And Royal Oak Farm Orchard is open for picking now.

There are Fall festivals too…

Devlan’s Scarecrow Fest is Saturday Sept 18th from 10am-4pm.

Oktoberfest runs October 9th & 10th from 12 -7 PM. Flat Iron Park.

Two days of live entertainment, a craft fair, German food, dachshund races, plenty of activities for the kids, and of course a BEER GARDEN.

You can check out Visit Lake Geneva and Streets of Lake Geneva to see what other fun activities are happening. From shopping to exploring to exciting entertainment, there is never a shortage of things to do in Lake Geneva.

And don’t despair as the weather begins to turn cold.

Winterfest will run February 2-5, 2022. Make sure you get the dates on your calendar and watch for updated information. It may be cold but it is a fun event you won’t want to miss!

If you can’t wait for the Fun in the Snow that winter brings here are some links to help get your calendar ready.

Lake Geneva offers plenty of activities to keep you occupied year-round and, no matter the weather, you will find something fun to do!

DON'T MISS THE FUN.
